I *think* I saw a cockroach downstairs, outside my apartment building today. Argh!!!
I really hope it was just a big bug, but whatever it was I really hope it comes nowhere near me! I think I would totally freak out if I found one in my apartment…
I searched the internet for advice and found this interesting article: http://www.alientimes.org/Main/TheSeasonForCockroaches. So, tonight I will be cleaning and wiping and storing things in tight containers!
I feel itchy just thinking about it!!

bwa ha ha…welcome to JP…where the insects are monster-sized!!!! yes i don’t like those “goki-chan”’s either! but then…neither do i like the big spiders about the size of your outstretched hand…. well..yeah…tis the season.. they DO climb stairs… be aware..and they also FLY too!

There are some beautiful moths and dragonflies and beetles to be seen too.
I’ve seen moths like small birds.
Oh and almost stepped on some snakes. in mountain woods rather than the city though.
Stop telling me about the spiders!!! I’ll have to leave the country!
