Surviving in Japan (without much Japanese) is one of the best websites available for tips on how to survive in Japan when your Japanese isn’t quite up to scratch yet. The website, created by the lovely Ashley Thompson, covers everything from tampons to teaching, mosquitos to mail – and all in amazing detail.
I’m mentioning this site for two reasons today. One – it’s a wonderful site! I have learnt so much from the advice that Ashley gives, and it’s constantly updated with new information. It’s an absolute must-read for all foreigners living in Japan. The second reason? Ashley very kindly asked me to write a guest post recently… and here it is:
5 ways to survive working for an Eikaiwa (Conversation School)
Thanks Ashely! 🙂 Everyone, get on over to Surviving in Japan, and don’t forget to follow Ashely on Twitter if you want the latest information!
Thanks so much for your kind words, Ali! And thank you also for the great guest post – feel free to guest post again anytime. 🙂
