Brighton Japan Festival update

The Brighton Japan Festival is back this weekend with the Asahi Anime Festival, which has a focus on modern pop culture (i.e. anime, manga, cosplay, fashion). The whole place was alive with colours, costumes and cakes!

Unfortunately, due to a slight technical hitch here in sunny Bognor Regis, I can’t upload my photos and share all the details with you tonight. So, instead, I have selected one photo from hundreds as a taster of what’s to come later in the week (when my Internet connection decides to work again).

There is one more day of festival fun left tomorrow, so why not pop down to Brighton if you’re in the area? There’ll be taiko drumming, J-pop, dance and games! For more information, please see:

(This post was written using my phone – sorry for any errors!)

  1. I’m so disappointed but a series of unexpected things meant I didn’t go to the festival even though I was in brighton for two of the days it was on. 😦

Glad you had lots of fun though
