Love Japan? In London this weekend? Then you simply must check out the Japanese Art Festival happening at Conway Hall.

What’s happening?
All the details can be found on the official website, but basically there will be the chance to experience all sorts of aspects of Japanese culture, from traditional arts and crafts, martial arts, kimono and calligraphy, to cosplay, manga and music. There will be performances from Budo, Hazumu Mini, LDN48, Masa Futagami, Hibiki and Zonic, to name just a few. There are also special guests from Japan – Momolita, who will be exhibiting her collection of Japanese dolls and Zero Goods Universe who will be exhibiting artwork and character goods from Leiji Matsumoto.
The main organiser of the event is Akemi Solloway. She is a lecturer of Japanese culture and the daughter of an old samurai family. It is her aim to present authentic Japanese culture in an accessible and enjoyable manner.
How much?
Tickets cost £7, or £10 on the door. Profits from the Japanese Art Festival will go to the Aid For Japan charity, which helps the victims of the earthquake and tsunami which happened on March 11th.
