My weekly series for 2014 has been Word of the Week. A big thank you goes out to everyone who has contributed all year and helped me to come up with lots of interesting new words and phrases to discuss here on Haikugirl’s Japan. The rules of the game stated that I could write about any word or phrase as long as it wasn’t a noun, so I set about trying to find verbs, adjectives, greetings, expressions, idioms and phrases that would be interesting enough to write about. I won’t lie – it wasn’t easy at all! But it was fun, and I learnt a lot, so thank you to everyone who helped me along the way.
