When: 15th – 17th May 2015
Where: Tobacco Dock, London E1
What: London’s largest indoor festival on all things Asia
150+ Exhibitors Stands – Live Performances – Food Tasting – Martial Arts – Spiritual Room – Cultural Room
FestivalAsia will make its début appearance at London’s Tobacco Dock this May. The first of its kind in the UK, FestivalAsia will focus on bringing many Asian cultures together, providing something for everyone. Over the course of three days, this festival will incorporate food, fashion, spirituality, art, music and performances from countries as varied as Pakistan to Japan. There will be over 150 stalls in the venue selling crafts and gifts from different parts of Asia, as well as food stalls, food demos, massage stalls, yoga vendors, henna artists, clothes, spices, meditation points and a variety of activities for everyone to join in with. There will also be a Performance Stage featuring an array of performers throughout the day, a Martial Arts Stage for demonstrations of the several different martial arts disciplines, a Speed Dating Party, a Spiritual Room and a Cultural Room.
Well, I’m excited! The acts haven’t all been announced yet, but one pair I do know will be performing there are the wonderful Hibiki Ichikawa and Akari Mochizuki. No Asian event would be complete without some traditional Japanese folk music!
This event sounds really interesting, not just for the Japanese parts but also for all of the other aspects of Asian culture that will be on offer. Of course, the food will be a big attraction, and I’m sure I’ll be heading straight for the sushi!

Absolutely! I’m still trying to decide if I’ll be there on one day or for the whole weekend (Sat and Sun). Depends if I can find somewhere cheap to stay! 🙂

I’m not sure if it’s a bug in WordPress or not, but for some reason this article is showing up 4 times (consecutively) in my reader (:

That’s strange. It’s definitely only published once, so I guess it must be a bug in the reader.
